Photograph of Pamela Codo-Lotti Pam is the Global Chief Operating Officer of Activism and Shareholder Advisory at GS. She also leads Cross Markets Activism and Shareholder Advisory. She advises on a range of complex and contested shareholder matters, including shareholder activism, hostile mergers and acquisitions, and environmental, social and governance challenges. As Head of Cross Markets Activism & Shareholder Advisory, she focuses in particular on mid-cap companies across various industries. Pam’s leadership in activism defense began when she led Goldman Sachs’ activism and shareholder advisory practice for consumer, retail and healthcare on a global basis.

Pam also serves as co-chair of the Investment Banking Division Council for Advancement of Racial Equity at Goldman Sachs. In addition to her professional leadership roles, Pam serves on the National Governing Board of the Jeremiah Program. The Jeremiah Program offers one of the nation’s most successful strategies for transforming families from poverty to prosperity two generations at a time.

Pam graduated from ESSEC Business School, an international higher education institution located in France, Singapore, and Morocco. Founded in 1907, ESSEC is one of France's "Grandes écoles", an institute of higher education with very strict admission requirements, and is known as one of the "trois Parisiennes" (three Parisians), along with ESCP and HEC Paris.
Pam also earned an MBA from Wharton Business School at the University of Pennsylvania.
